Mental & Emotional Hygiene and Health
IPMS is unique in that it houses an attached Counselling and Psychotherapy Clinic. Through this clinic, the institute offers professional counselling and psychotherapy services to individuals and families.
This facility also provides students with an invaluable opportunity to observe the practical application of theoretical knowledge learned during their academic studies. By engaging with real-life case studies, students gain deeper insight into therapeutic processes and develop practical counselling skills under professional guidance.

Awareness and Outreach
IPMS regularly conducts workshops, seminars, conferences, and interactive sessions aimed at creating awareness and providing insights into various psychological phenomena present in society.
For individuals who may not wish to pursue long-term academic courses, IPMS organizes short-term learning opportunities such as guest lectures and interactive programs. Experts from diverse professional backgrounds are invited to share their experiences and practical knowledge, helping participants develop a deeper understanding of counselling, psychotherapy, and mental health practices.

Social Contribution
IPMS strongly believes that knowledge becomes meaningful only when it contributes to social growth and human well-being.
To encourage this philosophy, the institute provides students with opportunities to engage with the community and learn directly from societal contexts. Students participate in visits to old-age homes, orphanages, palliative care centres, schools, hospitals, family courts, and industries.
These experiences allow students to observe the practical processes of counselling and psychosocial support, while also nurturing a sense of social responsibility and empathy.

IPMS Alumni
IPMS takes pride in its strong network of qualified and competent counsellors and psychotherapists who are actively serving society in various sectors, including schools, colleges, palliative care centres, industries, hospitals, and private practice.
In 2008, the Association of IPMS Alumni was established as a legal professional body under the name Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists (ACP). For over 15 years, ACP has been dedicated to promoting mental health awareness and advancing the practice of counselling and psychotherapy in society.
